Paris Saint-Germain are stepping up their summer pursuit or Holland defender Matthijs de Ligt
The Ajax captain is one of the most sought after players this summer with a host of clubs across Europe battling to secure his signature following a fine campaign.
The Ligt played a starring role as the club won the Eredivisie title and also reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
He has made over 100 appearances for Ajax, where his current contract runs until the summer of 2021.
