Feyenoord starts training camp with victory, unofficial debut Kelly

Feyenoord has also won its third practice match in preparation. In Austria it was against German SV Darmstadt 98 2-1 for coach Jaap Stam's team. Dylan Vente and Naoufal Bannis signed for the Rotterdam hits.

Just like in the duels with SDC Putten (0-6) and FC Dordrecht (1-2), Stam used a lot of players and changed almost his entire team into the break. Brand-new purchase Liam Kelly made his unofficial debut for the team from Rotterdam in the second half. Luciano Narsingh, another newcomer to Feyenoord, didn't play.

In addition to Narsingh, Kenneth Vermeer, Sam Larsson, Bart Nieuwkoop, Justin Bijlow, Nicolai Jørgensen and Calvin Verdonk also failed to play for a variety of reasons. Leroy Fer, who recently started training with Feyenoord to get fit, also stayed on the couch.

Red Bull next opponent

The duel with the club from the second Bundesliga was the first for the team from Rotterdam during the training camp in Austria. Feyenoord is still practicing against Red Bull Salzburg in Austria. That game is scheduled for Friday at 6:30 PM.

In addition, three more exhibition games (Panathinaikos, Angers, Southampton) will be played in De Kuip before the competition starts on Sunday 4 August with a home game against fellow-countryman Sparta.
