RB Leipzig offer £22.5million for Everton winger Ademola Lookman after seeing initial bid rejected

  • RB Leipzig table increased £22.5million offer to Everton for Ademola Lookman 
  • The winger spent the last half of 2017-18 season on loan at the Bundesliga club 
  • Lookman has played 48 games for Everton but not sealed a first-team spot

RB Leipzig have made an improved £22.5m offer for Ademola Lookman.

Leipzig reignited their interest in Everton winger Lookman again this window and responded after seeing their opening bid rejected.

Their first approach for the 21 year-old winger was worth £13m.

But Leipzig have now returned with a significantly increased package of up to £23m for exciting forward Lookman, who starred while on loan with the Bundesliga side in 2017-18.

The new bid is made up of an initial fee of £18m with a further £4.5m in add-ons.

Everton are now considering the offer for Lookman who they signed in an £11m deal in January 2017.

He marked a dream debut with a goal against Manchester City but failed to receive the first-team opportunities he had been promised at Goodison Park.
