The helicopter must make the unrest in De Kuip forget today

Traditionally, new players are always flown in by De Kuip during the Open Day and then presented to the public. Today it will be no different, but not many players with big names will step out of the belly of the device.

Because besides Stam, only Liam Kelly (who has come from Reading), Luciano Narsingh (transfer-free) and Nick Marsman (transfer-free) can be admired. Opposite their arrival is the departure of strongholds Robin van Persie (stopped), Tonny Vilhena (FK Krasnodar) and Jordy Clasie (unknown).

'Supporters happy with departure of policymakers'

"Feyenoord is just not in a good position," says Feyenoord watcher of the NOS Arman Avsaroglu. "The selection has been weakened compared to last year. And with the possible departure of Steven Berghuis that gap must also be filled. The same applies to Nicolai Jørgensen who is now injured."

"The public is becoming fatalistic," said Avsaroglu. "They see that good players have gone and that few good substitutes have been made. Some of the supporters will therefore be happy with the departure of the policymakers."
