Shkodran Mustafi could soon be on his way to Galatasaray with his agent set to fly to Turkey for talks with the club, according to reports.
The Arsenal centre back has started just once in the Premier League this season, becoming the forgotten man at the Emirates after falling way down the pecking order.
Former Gunners manager Unai Emery dropped the German after a number of error-prone displays in the heart of defence last season as they missed out on top four once again, and Mikel Arteta has kept the centre back away from his starting XI too.
Shkodran Mustafi’s agent is set to fly out to Turkey to discuss a transfer to Galatasaray
And Turkish publication Fotomac are now reporting that Mustafi’s new representatives will fly out to Turkey soon to hold discussions with Galatasaray officials.
Galatasaray are targeting Mustafi after they were dealt a huge blow when Christian Luyindama ruptured his cruciate ligament back in November.
It has been reported that a loan deal could be made, as well as a permanent transfer.
The north London outfit are expecting to make a loss on the 2014 World Cup winner, who they brought in the summer of 2016 for £35million.
Mustafi has played just 10 times for the Gunners this season in all competitions, with most of his appearances coming in the Europa League and Carabao Cup.
