Cardiff City are expected to make an improved bid for Wigan Athletic striker Kieffer Moore.
An offer of £2.3million was rejected last week but Moore, 27, was left out of Wigan’s squad for the defeat against Bristol City on Saturday.
Moore has scored two goals in 17 Championship appearances this season but hasn’t played for Wigan for over a month.

Last summer Moore joined Wigan from Barnsley on a three-year deal.
The Wales international has scored two goals in five appearances for his country since he made his debut in September last year.
He also has previous Championship experience from his spells with Yeovil and Ipswich.
