‘I’m sure some important proposals will come’: Jorginho’s agent hints at Chelsea exit at the end of the season and eyes potential reunion with Maurizio Sarri at Juventus
- Chelsea midfielder Jorginho could leave the club at the end of the season
- His agent – Joao Santos – has said he is expecting summer offers for the Italian
- Jorginho has been strongly linked with a move to Maurizio Sarri’s Juventus
- The 28-year-old was used regularly by Sarri while at Chelsea and Napoli
Jorginho’s agent predicts that clubs will make bids for the Italian midfielder this summer, which puts his future at Chelsea in serious doubt.
The 28-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Juventus, where he could reunite with former Chelsea and Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri.
Sarri brought Jorginho to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2018 – having spent three seasons with the midfielder while at Napoli – but the Italian manager was sacked by the Blues a year later despite finishing third in the Premier League and winning the Europa League.

Yet the player’s agent, Joao Santos, is expecting offers from Europe’s top clubs this year and the midfielder could leave the west London club before the next of the 2020/21 season.
When asked whether a reunion with Sarri could be possible this summer, Santos told Tuttomercatoweb: ‘Why not?
‘I am sure that some important proposals will come, which we would obviously evaluate together with Chelsea.’

The Italian is a key player for Frank Lampard’s new look Blues team, who are currently chasing a spot in the Premier League’s top four and are also looking to progress in the knockout stages of the Champions League.
Yet the next few months are not just important for Jorginho with regards to his club form – the 28-year-old also has his mind set on the 2020 European Championships with Italy.
His agent believes that a good tournament for the midfielder could attract the attention of European clubs to seek the player’s services for next season.
Jorginho is also gearing up for a European Championships campaign with Italy later this year
Santos added: ‘His goal is the Europeans with the national team.
‘There are many expectations around Mancini’s team. The European Championship is also a good showcase.
‘Even personally, he is doing very well at Chelsea, and I am sure that some important proposals will come because in his role there are not many high-level players like him around. ‘
