Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke believes that Jadon Sancho could remain at the club despite interest from Manchester United and Liverpool.
The England international’s stellar form in Germany has ramped up speculation that Sancho could return to the Premier League, despite the starlet refusing to be drawn into talk of a big-money exit.
But Watzke remains adamant that Dortmund will not need to offload their prized asset this summer.

Watzke remains adamant that there is no need for Dortmund to sell their prized asset either
‘I think he has the feeling that the club does have a good future,’ Watzke told BBC Sport.
‘In my opinion, I don’t think he wants to leave.’
Sancho has continued to star for Dortmund, with the 19-year-old wideman having joined the club in 2017 after making the brave decision to leave Manchester City in search of regular first-team action.
The prodigy netted 13 goals last season at club level, and was also handed his maiden senior England cap against Croatia in October 2018.
And after continuing his development in the German top flight, reports have indicated that Sancho is likely to seek a move away at the end of the current campaign – with several of the continent’s biggest teams circling.

Reports have fuelled speculation that Manchester United or Liverpool could move for him
Watzke conceded that it is ‘not clear what will happen’, before adding: ‘We have a very confidential relationship between us and him and his agents. We will discuss it.’
Dortmund are in line to generate a hefty profit should Sancho be sold, with the club having initially snatched up the youngster for around £10million.
But the club chief asserted that the Bundesliga title hopefuls will not be influenced by any amount of money.
‘It’s not a question of money,’ Watzke said. ‘For us, it would be the best position if he stays at Borussia Dortmund.
‘We have enough money. We want to have titles. I think this team has a lot more potential with Jadon than without Jadon.’
