Despite heading for a seemingly low-key meal, their presence attracted a small group of fans keen to get a glimpse of their music idols.

The Edge was seen stopping for the fans and signing autographs before leaving the establishment.

It comes as U2 have teamed up with DJ Martin Garrix to record the official Euro 2020 song.

The track, called We Are The People We’ve Been Waiting, is now set for release on May 14 ahead of the delayed football tournament kicking off in June.

A music insider told The Sun: ‘Martin adores football so this opportunity was massive for him, which is why he aimed for the very top when looking for collaborators.

‘He has spent months and months working on this song to make it perfect and once Bono and The Edge were on board, it hit new heights.

‘They have spoken quite a few times and are in London at the moment working on the video. They can’t wait to get it out there for everyone to listen to really soon.’

Martin shared a snap confirming the collaboration to his Twitter account on Tuesday and also announced the song’s release date on Monday.
