Barcelona have marked Juventus defender Daniele Rugani as a January transfer target to solve their centre back problems, according to reports in Spain.
The 24-year-old Italian has been involved in just three Serie A games this season, but remains highly rated in Turin.
His first team chances with Juve have been severely limited by the return of Leonardo Bonucci from AC Milan in the summer.

Rugani, who was linked with a move to Chelsea in the summer, could move to the Nou Camp on loan, according to Spanish newspaper Sport.
It would provide the former Empoli defender with the game time he craves, while also providing vital cover for Barca.
The La Liga leaders are in the midst of a defensive crisis, with both Samuel Umtiti and Thomas Vermaelen out until the new year.

Vermaelen will not play again until January with a muscle tear, while Umtiti is likely to be sidelined for even longer due to a knee injury.
This leaves Gerard Pique and Clement Lenglet as the only fit, senior central defenders at the Nou Camp.
Barcelona have also been linked with Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen, who like Rugani finds himself out of favour.
