Joao Felix could reject Premier League giants Manchester United and City to make a shock move to Atletico Madrid this summer.
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder is one of the hottest prospects in Europe after a breakthrough season in Portugal with Benfica.
United and City are both interested in meeting his £105million release clause this summer, while Juventus are also keen to bring him to Turin.

However, Atletico appear to have stolen a march on their rivals in the race for Felix’s signature as Diego Simeone plans a summer rebuild of his squad.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, the teenager is interested in a move to the Wanda Metropolitano after being convinced by his agent, Jorge Mendes.
They claim that Felix had doubts about a move to Atletico before Mendes stepped in to explain the club’s stature in Europe and their plans for the future.

Atletico have made Felix their No 1 target as they prepare to lose star-man Antoine Griezmann this summer.
Simeone has also seen Lucas Hernandez join Bayern Munich, while Diego Godin and Juanfran have left.
The Argentine is said to be a big admirer of Felix’s potential and would relish the challenge of helping the youngster become one of the world’s best players.
