Jadon Sancho is set to turn down Manchester United’s advances this summer in favour of spending another year at Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho scored 12 goals in 41 appearances while he impressively set his team-mates up to score 19 times in all competitions.

This has made Sancho one of Europe’s hottest properties, in a year where he also made his senior England debut.
However, Dortmund chiefs are confident the starlet will still be at the club beyond the summer, according to The Sun.
Sporting director Michael Zorc reinforced earlier this week that the winger will be staying put.
‘No, we did not receive anything [an offer],’ he told Sky Sports. ‘We do not expect anything and we do not want anything, because he is on our plans. He will play for Borussia Dortmund next season. Nobody needs to get in touch.’

United’s hopes of signing Sancho also took a huge hit when it was confirmed that they were unable to secure Champions League football for next season.
Sancho, a product of Manchester City’s youth academy, has established himself as one of the Bundesliga’s leading stars following his departure from the Etihad Stadium two years ago.
The teenager is under contract at the German club until 2022.
