Napoli are preparing a bid to sign Real Madrid outcast James Rodriguez, according to Italian publication Corriere dello Sport.
The Colombian star last played for Real Madrid in May 2017 and has spent the last two seasons on loan at Bayern Munich.
Zinedine Zidane is desperate to offload the 27-year-old and is thought to have set an asking price of £37million.

On a front page which celebrates the 60th birthday of Carlo Ancelotti, the Napoli manager has sent out a warning to their Serie A rivals ahead of next season.
‘My first season was one of transition… now the arrow is drawn: we are ready to strike,’ said Ancelotti.
Corriere dello Sport also report Rodriguez will be Ancelotti’s ‘first gift’ to Napoli fans in the summer transfer window.

Rodriguez has made 111 appearances for Los Blancos after signing a six-year contract in a £71m deal in July 2014, scoring 33 goals.
In two seasons with Bayern he has scored 15 goals in 67 appearances, winning the Bundesliga twice, German Cup once and German Super Cup twice.
