Tottenham are reportedly monitoring 29-year-old Marseille right back Hiroki Sakai.

Mauricio Pochettino is looking to bolster his defence this summer but Sakai’s age could deter Spurs from pushing forward with a move, according to Sky Sports News.

Sakai made 32 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit last season in which he scored one goal and provided five assists.
