However, according to El Chiringuito, Real are not currently considering a move for Mbappe.

Real previously made a bid of £154million for Mbappe in 2021 and he was also linked with the Spanish giants last summer, but he elected to sign a new contract with PSG worth £650,000-a-week.

Given that Real can still call upon Karim Benzema, their need to sign Mbappe isn’t especially pressing.

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti was asked about the possibility of signing Mbappe in his press conference this week.

However, Ancelotti gave a blunt answer to Canal +, saying: ‘You have the courage to ask that? I don’t have to answer.’

Mbappe has scored 183 goals in 230 games for PSG, although he certainly seems unsettled at the club.

Liverpool has also been mentioned as a possible destination for Mbappe, but as things stand it seems unlikely that he will join Real.
