Inter Milan star Achraf Hakimi’s agent shuts down possible move to Paris Saint-Germain, insisting he ‘has not spoken to any other club’ but that there is wide interest in the full back

  • Achraf Hakimi only joined Inter Milan from Real Madrid for £40million this term
  • He has since gone on to star for the Italian side helping them claim Serie A crown
  • But since Antonio Conte’s San Siro exit he has been linked with a move to PSG

The agent of Inter Milan midfielder Achraf Hakimi has dismissed reports linking the midfielder with a summer move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Hakimi has impressed this season at the San Siro after helping the Nerazzurri win Serie A for the first time in 11 years.

After joining for £40million from Real Madrid at the start of the season, the 22-year-old missed just one league game under Antonio Conte to help deliver the title.

The midfielder who has also featured as a right-back has been linked with a move to PSG for £50million, especially in the wake of Conte’s resignation following a disagreement over the potential firesale of Inter stars this summer.

But according to Calciomercato via Football Italia, his agent Alejandro Camano has quashed reports of a move for the Morocco international.

‘He is the best player in Europe in his position. That’s why there are so many rumours about him,’ Camano said.

‘Hakimi has four years left in his contract with Inter, and I want to clarify I haven’t talked to any other club.

‘We are serene. Hakimi has joined his national team and has a long-term deal with Inter. I want to thank all the Inter fans who send him messages these days,’ he concluded.

Despite Camano’s words of assurance to Inter supporters, he had played down links of Hakimi joining Inter last summer before signing for the Milan outfit two weeks later.
